The Magic Food Bus is a traveling farm stand and library program that offers people of all ages and socioeconomic levels access fresh fruits and vegetables at no cost and creates opportunities for students to participate in summer reading. Our volunteer drivers often prepare samples of healthy foods and give recipes to help shoppers prepare more healthy foods at home. We purchase seasonal vegetables and fruit from local farmers and distribute produce gleaned by volunteers as part of a food security effort in Hancock County. Additionally, we accept produce donations from community growers. Do you have more vegetables in your garden than you know what to do with? We'll happily distribute them! We also invite home gardeners to grow a row for the Magic Food Bus. For more information on how to donate produce, contact Anna Wind at email@example.com. The Magic Food Bus is a program of Healthy Peninsula and is supported by community donations and grants. Thank you for your support!
