Appearances and Uses:
A small statute aster that blooms late summer/early fall. Very light purple flowers with very narrow leaves. Grows up to 12 inches. Excellent food source for late pollinators and the leaves are host to many caterpillar species.

Growing Conditions:
Sun, sandy, rocky soils. Grasslands, pine barrens, open woods. Works well in smaller garden spaces. All asters easily self-sow and benefit from dividing every 4-5 years.
