Blue Hill, Maine - Fresh Local Food Handmade Just for You

Soap • 4 Mini Bars

Its a Brand New Year – January SALE!

Four sweet little sample-sized bars of soap in four different flavors, each one-quarter of a whole bar, all for less than the price of one whole bar.

Due to Covid-19 we’re washing hands more than ever before:
– Place Bagaduce Farm Mini-Bars at sinks all over the house.
– Take them to the cabin; leave them in the guest house.
– Carry them in purses and packs — you never know when you’ll be at a restaurant and the person in front of you gets the last pump of soap in the dispenser.
– Take them on the road and the trail. Mini-bars make having the best soap possible wherever you go.
– Donate them. Food banks and shelters are always in need of high-quality personal products. Far too often they’re stuck with whatever they can get.

Our organic ingredients include saponified oils: lard*, coconut oil, olive oil, jojoba ester, and beeswax; plus raw goats’ or cow’s milk, botanicals, clays, and essential oils.

*from TideMill Organic Farm in Edmunds Twp. and from pigs raised on local farms.
Maine 5.5% sales tax, included.

On Bagaduce Farm we make a collection of unique, artisanal, hand and shaving soaps for personal use.

62% of the ingredients—rendered lard and raw milk—in each bar are from nearby small sustainable farmsteads. Organic Coconut oil, Olive oil, Jojoba ester, and bees wax round out our base to enhance the luxurious feel and extend the life of each bar.

For several thousand years, fat rendered from animals was the primary ingredient in making soap. Today, most of excess fat from livestock is relegated to the commercial waste stream. Ugh.

I collect extra pig fat from a select few local organic farmers and render it into beautiful lard, full of healthy fats and minerals, that can only be created by happy, healthy pigs raised outdoors on lush pastures.
