Sweet and sour lemon pickle


Sweet and sour mildly spiced lemon pickle, indian style. This pickle is made using lemons, vinegar, indian spices, salt, and sugar. Has a nice blend of sweet and sour along with some spice. The lemons are in slices and can be served alongside with any lunch or dinner. You can eat the pickled rind of the lemon. In indian cuisine, the pickles are consumed on a daily basis in order to aid digestion. Here you can eat the pickles alongside sandwiches or curries you make at home. The brine can be also used for marinating chicken. 8 ounce jars, canned. Shelf stable upto 6-8 months and or after opening refrigeration is required. Gluten free and vegan. You can add more sugar to aid in sweetness, but I tend to keep sugar on lower side.
